Ellipsis 8

I bought and Ellipsis 8 this Saturday and it did an update and now it cycles between the Verizon screen and the Ellipsis Screen. I have tried holding down the power button and shutting it off and turning it back on and it still does it. I have also tried doing a hard reset on it and it will not do anything but cycle between these two screens. Any suggestions?

Help is here! We are sorry to see that you are having these issues. We are here to help. Did you see any error messages when performing the update? If you cannot power it off, let the battery drain completely. Then plug it into a charger and power back on. If it does the same thing, retry these steps without powering on.
