I cannot connect to my camera

When I touch the camera icon,  I get a message "cannot connect to the camera"

I personally love to take pictures, so I will do all I can to make sure the camera works again. Does the message still appear after you have powered the device off and on, pritch9852? If so, you should reset the camera app. 

Resetting the app may help in resolving app related issues. Resetting the app does not remove saved items on the device (texts, pictures, voicemails, etc.).


Go to Settings > Application Manager > from the All tab, locate the camera and tap force stop > tap OK > tap Clear data if it shows available > tap OK. Power the device off and on and try taking another photo.
