I have had my Ellipsis 8 tablet just two weeks, no updates/upgrades have been done thus far and the volume is so very low, why ? I must where my bluetooth to watch Netflix or listen to music, ready to return it I tell you! !
smbeckagain, I'm someone who used my tablet to watch Netflix too, so having low volume would surely be a distraction. Let's find out what could be holding up the volume. Is there any type of protective film on the device? Do you have a case on it? Anything covering the speaker in any way?

No, there is nothing covering the speaker nor is there a case of any type blocking the speaker
Thank you for getting back to us with this information. Let's pump up the volume and get this resolved. When did this start happening? Was there a time when you were able to turn the device volume up and down with no issues?

Yes, resolve it...Oh, I can turn the volume up and down with no issues, it just NEVER has gotten loud enough to be of satisfactory volume from its original use.
With a headset I can keep the volume less then halfway up and its fine but take the headset out of the headset jack and the same music or movie is so low I must keep the tablet within 6" to hear it.
I have the same problem, it drives me nuts
Download Speaker Boost from Omega Centauri Software from the play store. I had to use it on my Ellipsis 8 and my Kindle Fire. 35% is prefect for me
