Can I use a 32GB micro card to increase internal memory in my Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, and can I transfer and store apps on that card?

The Ellipsis 8 HD supports up to a 128 GB micro SD card (it doesn't add internal memory but provides additional storage). You can store documents, music, videos, and pictures on the SD card, but not apps.

In step 8 in the following link from Verizon's website the instructions show how to "...move media, apps, etc. from internal storage to SD card. Is this incorrect?

You can try it if you want, but it's not recommended to move apps to the SD card.
