excel file transfer from phone to tablet

Bluetooth is turned on for phone and tablet.  Excel appmis installed on both devices.  There should be a way to share an excel file b

One drive, Google drive, dropbox....I haven't tried to send an Excel file between devices with bluetooth, but I do access the same files on multiple devices using the above apps.

I do appreciate your input SuzyQ. AprilG17, did you still want to know how to transfer a file? What happens when you do? What is the make/model of the device you are tranferring too?
