"Unfortunately, Print Spooler has stopped." New Ellipses 8.

I was sold a new Ellipses 8 yesterday. Have not been able to send anything to print.  Whether Google Print or HP7525 (downloaded printer driver app), I get the "Unfortunately, Print Spooler has stopped" message.  I was able to use the HP app to remotely scan a document sitting on the printer, so I know they are connected.  But how do I get anything to print?

Getting an error message when trying to print important documents from your device can be frustrating, so let's figure out the best options to help out. Typically, a tablet will only be able to print from a compatible printer. To begin, reset the the app referenced in the error message using the steps here http://vz.to/1JiD5tU . Once you've reset the app, ensure your tablet is properly set up to print following the steps on this link http://vz.to/1nyx1mX .You should then be able to print to the connected printer or Google Drive based on the settings you selected during set up.
