My daughter's phone got liquid damage o June 2nd. I added a line to our account on June 4 and the salesman upgraded our insurance to the total protection plan. When I realized my daughter's phone wasn't going to dry out, I filed a claim on June 10. Asurion has repeatedly denied the claim because they say we didn't have protection prior to June 4. Uh, no. Had insurance since 10/2018 on every phone on the account. I have spent numerous hours on the phone with Verizon and Asurion. A Verizon supervisor has even told Asurion that we did have insurance, but they still won't approve the claim!! What good is having insurance if they pick and choose which claims they honor. This is criminal!! Verizon is no help at all because when the going gets tough, the Verizon "supervisor" just hangs up. So then, I have to spend another 45 minutes on hold to even speak with someone. Going to get the whole family switched to another carrier. Very disappointing. I need someone higher up to fix this now. I have paid hundreds of dollars on insurance I cant even fudging use.
