It does sound like these messages are simply being sent out in error. As long as you reply 'No' to the messages you're good to go.

I also received this message on my new phone. iphone11- 4 months after purchasing. I believe it is someone trying to get a replacement phone that i have for themselves at first but seems everyone has this issue. Unfortunately my issue has spread to other phones on my plan not being able to use their phones as there is a LOCK on our account due to a stolen phone. So i would not ignore and be sure to fix with your representative.

PETSTE39, getting a text message about a claim can be worrisome. Was an Asurion claim processed around the time you received this text? How many of these texts have you received?

I received the same email today. I’ve repeatedly tried calling Asurion, they put me on hold the DISCONNECT the call before they answer it. How did they get my information. I don’t even have AT&T. Never have and never will. This is fraud
i received a text from 64880 as well. This happened on 11/10/2020 as well to me. I was told this was resolved and wouldn't happen again. I feel further investigation needs to happen. No one in my house made any claims, and i keep my info private. I feel that my account is no longer safe or secure.
