This is a peer to peer Verizon forum, not an Asurion one. You can always opt out of insurance and save instead.

I can understand. I was not happy about the increase to mine as well. If you have questions, you can reach out to Asurion directly. It is always a good idea to protect your device. I have been in the situation before to not protect my device and will not do that again.
