I talked to someone on chat and they told me I'm screwed. I traded in a phone but never received my $1000 credit. The store manager is being very shady and wont give me answers. He said he sent in a correction and it would be 7-10 days....it's been over 2 weeks now and still nothing. The more i think about being screwed the more irritated i am. She said the store i bought a Verizon locked phone from for a Verizon plan is an authorized reseller. The store has Verizon on it and they only sell Verizon phones and services yet you can't do anything for me. If I were truly a "valued customer" that you hate to lose after 17 years you would figure out a way to fix this, you choose not to. How is this my issue to hunt down someone to fix it? I handed over my phone to a Verizon worker while inside a Verizon store to be sent in for a trade in promo for $1000. The worker didn't fill out the form completely so the loss falls on the customer? I didn't even need a new phone but got one since there was a $1000 trade in promo. My phone definitely qualified for the highest amount considering the worker kept saying that it looked brand new still. I have talked to several people around our town and you wouldn't believe how many stories I have heard where this store has screwed them over. Most have switched to another provider and there are a few waiting to see what happens with my issue to see if they will switch too. Why would they want to stay with a company that treats their customers like this??
