Authorized Retailer Refusing to Do Promotion

I went to an authorized dealer to get the iPhone 16pro trade in. They did mine correctly however they only gave 160 dollars for my wife’s phone instead of 1,000. They are basically either refusing to fix it or don’t know how I don’t know.
every time I try and call Verizon they just say to contact the store. They shouldn’t have authorized retailers if they can just do whatever they want and not honor an agreement

I don't think it's because it was a 3rd party store - although you were fortunate that said store was participating in the promotion, because not all 3rd party stores do - but Verizon needs to change the wording on their trade-in promos to say "up to X for your trade-in". If you ask me, most people wouldn't get the maximum benefit. The value of a trade-in is determined by whomever receives the devices at the warehouse and not by the salespeople in the stores.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

SAME!! I was lied to 3 different times for a promotion!!! Never will I ever again!!! Been with this company since 2009 and still got played like a fiddle….

I was told my old phone had to be sent in to honor the promotion then told I was past the date to receive the promotion…. Now we all know if trading in your old phone was apart of a promotion done online there would have been a envelope to return your phone in certain amount of days in order to get the promotion…ALL LIES!!

I have already spoke with customer services and a supervisor TODAY!! Nothing was resolved except for they want me to trade in my old devices now from an upgrade the was done Jan 8th…why would I do that almost 4months later when it wasn’t install initially apart of the promotion…save the envelope and save the excuses
