Does Verizon actually record phone conversations?

I had a whole conversation with a customer service rep yesterday about trading in a device. Went through the whole process and felt very good about it. After about 5 hours realized I never received an email or text from Verizon which didn't seem right. Called Verizon again and after speaking to 4 different people (2 of whom were supervisors) turned out my order was never placed. I demanded from the last supervisor that someone needs to listen to all the conversations I had yesterday, because obviously they have people working there that are misleading customers and leading them to believe they are doing something, which they are not. I have been with Verizon for over 20 years, and nobody wants to take accountability there anymore.

Before anything, thanks for your 20 years of loyalty to the company. Verizon truly appreciates your business. Our goal is to offer the support you need.
We want to be on the same page of the book to avoid getting lost in the story. Do you wish to make an official complaint about your recent experience? Are you looking to resubmit the order?
