Three days ago I sent in my trade-in back. It has not been received yet. I made sure I did the factory reset, twice. I just checked again and the phone still shows up on my " find a phone" screen. I tried to do another remote factory reset but of course the phone is off. It says it will reset when powered back on. Did I mess up my trade-in? Ugh...

Hello Yoda71,
It can take some time for a device to ship to our warehouse, and then for the warehouse to inspect and check the device in. Since you mentioned you shipped the device back only 3 days ago, you are still at the early stages of the process. Once the shipment tracking shows the device to be delivered to the warehouse, it can take 24-48 hours for the warehouse team to check it in and inspect it.

Hope this helps:
Remove phone from Find My Device
If it was an iPhone, open up the "Show More" link underneath the Android instructions.
