Why state the value of a perfectly good working cell online via questions of said device worth said amount to then send it in and not get a warning or something and pay full price for the new cell (shown on the new bill) because trade-in was not worth anything? Wouldn't it be best to sell second-hand to someone rather? Bait and switch is what it seems.
I did an upgrade for my wife for an iPhone 14 Pro Max. Sent in an immaculate condition iPhone 11 Pro Max 256GB is worth whatever it was at the time of online questioning. Got a bill stating that the full-price of the iPhone 14 Pro Max was to be charged and got nothing of value from the iPhone 11 Pro Max. Basically, I will share throughout the whole social media landscape to sell to someone rather than get told it's worth something to then not be worth anything. If at times Verizon has been duped and credited someone then stop the trade-in promos. It is as simple as that. Not everyone is out to dupe someone and we got billed on two of our accounts similarly because, on our kids' account, my daughter wanted an iPhone14 Pro MAx as well. This is wrong and we should have gotten some form of response as to what was going to happen.I mean the option of Verizon sending a so-called non-valuable iPhone back to us the customer would have been a nice option so we can sell it to someone and pay the difference. This is so frustrating.

We never received an alert or notification that the value of the device (iPhone 11 Pro Max 256GB) was rescinded. Similarly, this happened to our secondary account (also an iPhone 11). Both accounts said a value that later on pow was added to the bill.
