Does anybody know how to file a formal complaint with Verizon? I have talked to 6 representatives over 50 days who have not been able to help. Hoping to get their attention through this forum before writing their executive team and looking into how to file a formal BBB and/or FCC complaint.
Background: I bought two new 14 Pro Max Iphones from a Verizon Kiosk located in Costco in June of this year. I traded in two older model Iphones and as part of this upgrade, there was a promotion that I was to receive a Coscto rebate card of $200 per phone, so $400 total. Those rebate cards were supposed to be mailed to me 100 days after my purchase and sent by the Verizon rebate team. This was supposed to have happened by September 6. It has been 150 days since my purchase and I have called 6 times to try to track down the rebate that Verizon committed to in my original purchase. After 110 days I went to Costco in person and we called Verizon together, after which they assured me I would receive the 2 rebate cards in 10 business days. I have called back 5 times since then to follow up, and every single time I’m told that they see the deal in the system, that there was a system error, and that they would escalate this situation with the rebate team, and that I should expect to receive the rebates in the mail. It’s negligent and dishonest on Verizon’s part to make me have to hunt down what has been contractually obligated, and outrageous to think that I need to waste my time following up to honor a deal that I’m owed.
