I was told I would get a trade-in and owe nothing, but now that I am leaving Verizon over 1 year later, they now say I owe them over $500.00. The commercials on TV - yes, I stop it the screen and read the fine print at the bottom - never said I would be obligated to Verizon for another 36 months. And the rude person I talked to today has put just a bad taste in my mouth that I plan on posting and posting and then posting some more about how they are trying to rip me off, were very rude on the phone with me when I had a dispute and would not even give me the address to mail a certified letter. I would appreciate any help anyone can offer.

I'm sorry to hear there was such confusion around your promotion and you did not receive the utmost kindness when reaching out that. As it is outlined in the terms and conditions signed at purchase that the 36 months must be filled to qualify this is not something that can be altered. https://www.verizon.com/support/shopping-and-deals/
