On 11/4/2023 I trade in my iPhone 11 Pro and bought iPhone 15 pro from Verizon. As per the deal, I was supposed to get $830 as billing credit over 3 years.
Verizon received the trade in device on 11/13/2023 and said they will complete evaluation by 11/28/2023 and credit will be applied within 1 to 2 billing cycle.
As I didnโt get any information from Verizon on the estimated value or billing credit, I reached to customer service.
Customer service said in order to get the billing credit my plans need to be unlimited unlimited. Since my plan is not unlimited unlimited, I will not get billing credit and they will also not return my old phone.
I understand if there was such condition and I didnโt notice, I shouldnโt get billing credit, but shouldnโt I get some credit based on their evaluation as a gift card or so? How can Verizon just keep my phone and not give any credit or return my phone? Itโs more like stealing customers phones.

Hello, Esbee. Thanks so much for this information and rest assured, help is here. We want to ensure that we figure out the market trade in value for the phone sent to us. Do you have the submission ID number and the tracking number by chance?
