I recently switched to Verizon in September from a different cell phone provider, and I sent my old phone in for a trade-in credit. I received the trade-in information and was informed that the credit would be applied to my account within a few billing cycles, but I have not received anything yet.

I have the same issue. At the Verizon store I was told if I traded in my current phone and upgraded to a current plan the new iPhone would be free. 3 months later I'm being told the iPhone I traded in is worth zero dollars in credit and I must pay the full price for the new phone.
I was also told by a Verizon rep that even though a store front says Verizon, they aren't all "real" Verizon stores. How is the consumer to know which stores are "real" and which aren't?!
