Last week I went to Verizon with my 12 year old son to purchase him a new phone. While there I remembered that I never sent in my phone the year before because I never recd the box in the mail from Verizon. I set it aside and forgot about it. I asked the salesman who sold me the phone to check to see if I was getting the credit for the trade-in. He confirmed I wasn’t. He said to bring the phone to the store (which is what happens now-no more mailing boxes) so I did and I opened a ticket for them to review and just recd notification Verizon is giving me a credit of $1.76. I have always been a loyal customer with Verizon and I am disappointed they didn’t honor the $17 monthly credit since I have read where quite a few people never recd their boxes. I’m asking for this to get excalayed and reviewed. Thank you.

You never got the special box (custom box) Verizon usually sends for trade-in phones. Because of that, you missed out on the bigger trade-in value for your phone. Verizon only gave you a small credit for recycling it in-store. Since you've been a loyal customer, ask them to review your situation again and see if they can give you the full trade-in credit you deserve.
