I don't like being lied to or having false information given to me.
I received this message
Verizon: , great news! Get Samsung Galaxy S25 on us (up to $800 in value). When you trade in any phone from your account, any condition guaranteed. Keep your current plan and enjoy a 3 year Price Lock guarantee (price guarantee excludes taxes and fees). Visit m.vzw.com/GS25series (data charges may apply) or call 800.366.4365 to learn more. Limited-time offer. Trade-in & add'l terms apply. Reply 'X' to learn how to opt out.
When i went in to do the upgrade on one of the lines on my account it said
This phone doesn't qualify.
What happened to in the bottom message, any phone in any condition. The phone I was trying to upgrade is a working phone that is currently used on my account. I've been received a text message with the same information. This really lowers the trust that I have had in verizon. I have been with verizon, clear back when it was airtouch, and have always had trust in the company And the network. But starting to receive false statements and false messages is really lowering that trust.

I believe the OP has a valid concern. While the fine print has disclaimers about what makes of phones qualify, it would be better if the promotion indicated specifically what phones qualify, instead of saying "any phone in any condition".
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
