UPS lost my trade in back in December 2022. I have been on the phone with both UPS and Verizon on 9 separate occasions throughout this last three months. I finally went to a Verizon store today to try to get some help after spending 3 hours on the phone with customer support and getting rerouted back to the beginning on two different occasions. It turns out UPS can only approve my claim if they hear from the Verizon Claims department.... Which apparently doesn't exist... If anyone has information on this claims department, please let me know!! To be completely honest, the Verizon customer service has been so incredibly bad and if I had another option, this experience would result in me cancelling my service with Verizon. Any information on Verizon claims or other suggestions on next steps would be helpful! Thank you.

I would be concerned too if something were to have happened to my trade-in. Do you have the tracking number still? What does it show for its progress?

Basically the information I have is that Verizon received the box, but the phone wasn't in it. So original tracking shows it was delivered, except now it shows that the claim is pending. The whole issue from what I understand is that UPS is willing to payout the claim, but needs claim information filed by Verizon. I have had three separate Verizon support people contact UPS to turn around and tell me that they have to wait for UPS to send this form, and they filed a ticket and will get back to me, which of course hasn't happened. According to UPS, the form has already been sent over a month ago. Today, the helpful retail rep I worked with even gave his email to UPS to get a copy of the form, to which UPS didn't send because he isn't "the claims department". Based on what I'm reading on other posts, it seems the way to go is to get the Attorney General from my State involved, but I would prefer to just get this form completed, obviously.
