I am so frustrated with Verizon. I was told by a store sales agent that I would get $700 back on my old phone when I bought a new one because of a promotion. After a few months, I found out that I was not eligible for the trade-in amount because of being on the 50+ plan. I was not told about it by the store agent when I bought the phone.. I was charged the full amount of phone and did not get any credit. They had taken my phone without giving me anything for it and didn’t even contact me to give the phone back. I contacted the chat line but the person just kept saying he was sorry and there was nothing he could do. I do not trust that I will get treated fairly anymore.
Could someone from Verizon please help me with this problem. It is not a good business practice to not correct an error. I just want either the phone back or the promised credit on my bill.
