Trade In issue

I recently upgraded my daughter's phone and chose to utilize the trade-in option to reduce the cost of the new phone. We sent in the phone using the UPS label that Verizon provided and have a delivery confirmation that the phone was delivered a few days after it was shipped to the Verizon destination. Verizon sent me an email saying the phone has not been received and the discount is removed. So we have been overcharged and have had difficulty resolving this issue.

It seems very straight forward yet when you attempt to call or do the chat, it is extremely frustrating and seems to not resolve the issue.

has anyone had this issue and been able to resolve it. This makes me want to switch carriers altogether.
