I just typed a long message and it disappeared.  On nov 23 I went inside the Verizon store just for curiosity and the guy tells me about the $1k trade in, a $200.00 gift card for every new phone,  and free iPhone with new line. We'll I left mobile of 16 yrs, got 2 new phones, 3 lines and quoted $161.00 monthly pymt but no gift cards. Since Nov I've been fighting for this and nothing. They just ' escalate my issue" they keep me on the phone for up to 3.5 hrs! And at e they just lie . All I got was their reficulous bills first $161.00 never happened.  Then Billed $188.00 then $219.]0 now I'm at $235.00. That free phone, 3 yrs in order for it to be free. Hidden fees. Today someone replied just to show that they do respond. I replied at 3:430m. It's almost 7:00pm and still no response.  I'm tired of Verizon I need " we need to do something, this is not okay. How can we get a hold of a supervisor or higher ranked person. This needs to stop. I'm paying too much and they need to stand by their word and give me my 2 gift cards  that's a total of $400.00 whilich I'm entitled to, I purchased 3 phones!!! Someone out there?!

Hi, I don't know why Verizon doesn't just credit you the $400 since it sounds like some details got lost in the shuffle with redeeming the switcher rebate.  This user managed to get their rebate and posted helpful tips in the thread below:

It might have an expiration period where you have to input all the details within a certain period of time, so if you didn't get all the required information when you signed up, seems like Verizon ought to just give you the money as a credit.  Someone else reported they got that to happen instead, so keep trying?  Sorry Verizon is so tough to deal with...
