Trade in Deadline extended for Christmas

I purchased an  upgrade for my daughter as a Christmas gift on 11/15.   The current trade ln deadline is due 30days out (12/15).  Is there a way to request to have this deadline extended?

I have the same question.  I want to buy the phone today and Verizon Customer services said I should wait a few days because of the 30 day return policy.  Can you send me a private note about this?  I would like to go ahead and start the trade in process/get new phone.

Hello, laneym11, good to hear you're looking to take advantage of a trade-in offer! To clarify, are you looking to take advantage of the extra time for the return period and trade-in deadline? For the return period, devices/accessories purchased between 11/28-12/12 can be returned/exchanged up to 1/12/25 so we are still a couple of days out from that. For the trade-in program, that extension is in effect so you will be able to return the phone through 1/29/25. So all in all, if you would like ot upgrade now, the extension for the trade-in would be in effect, but not the extended return/exchange period. Does this help answer your question?

Hi,

I purchased my iPhone 16 Pro Max from Verizon on December 2 and have a trade-in device to send. I am currently traveling, but based on previous responses on this forum and the extended trade-in policy for the holiday season, I understand I have until January 29 to complete the trade-in.

However, I recently received an email stating that my trade-in is past the 30-day window. Could you please assist in resolving this issue? I want to ensure my trade-in is processed successfully within the appropriate timeline.

We defintely want you to be eligible for any trade-in promotions available to you. It is important for you to send in your trade-in device as soon as possible to receive the full available amount. Have you sent in your device yet?

Hi,

I purchased my iPhone 16 Pro Max from Verizon on December 31st 2024 and have a trade-in device to send. I had a family emergency and came back on Feb 3rd, I know I should’ve probably sent it earlier but things got in the way before and it’s my fault bad planning, but based on these responses on this question, I’m wondering if I can get an extension please, so I can send it asap? Maybe as early as today? 

I’ve checked my emails and I haven’t gotten anything saying that my trade-in is past the 30-day window, yet. Could you please assist me in helping me out with this issue?
