Trading in my iPhone 13 Pro Max because they offered me $500, but as you can see I didn’t get $500! This is just another issue from my last terrible sales experience w/Verizon. I still owed $ on my phone, had to pay it off. Only to be robbed. Not 1 thing that was said by the salesman, is as it should be. The “free phones on us” not free! Not free, and overpriced, I checked out Apple’s prices, I could’ve gotten them cheaper thru Apple. I have been a customer for 13 yrs, I switched from Sprint cuz Sprint refused to give me a replacement for my insured, broken, phone. They wanted me to sign a contract 1st, I didn’t want to do that, so I called Verizon, at that time they were kind of the underdog, but they offered me free phones, and a bunch of other stuff! It’s not like that anymore! Not much competition, which is really bad for customers! It’s truly a sad situation when you have to accept really poor customer service, poor deals that use really deceptive tactics, “free phones” is not even a thing anymore for us long term customers.” Unlimited data plans” not really unlimited, either! If they were, they wouldn’t have several different plans. I hope that other cellular companies come along and make Verizon see how Sprint once felt. Sprint was, how Verizon is now. They became so big, they didn’t care for customers. Sprint now-gone. At least here in MN they are. I pray that Verizon realizes if they become too lazy, and stop appreciating customers, and loyalty, and standing by your promises and words, another company will come along and do all that you wouldn’t or couldn’t do. AT&T is another example of a once huge cell phone company/service, my daughter is still w/them, but all of our AT&T branches are gone here as well. They got too comfortable and started being greedy and unappreciative of customers. No longer that giant they once were. I am a huge fan of amazing customer service and support, it definitely makes or breaks businesses! I refuse to be treated like a # or treated like I am a fool who will pay anything for service! The cost of your cell phone bill should never be more than your car or house payment! That’s just insane!
