Hello,
I recently did a trade-in my s21 Ultra to get a S23 Ultra and switched from T-mobile to Verizon. This involved using the 1000$ promotional trade-in promo.
I opened a new account and had to go with Unlimited plus plan or the first 30 days. Before placing this order for my new trade in, I confirmed with the Sales Rep if I can change the Plan and switch to a cheaper plan without losing the 1000$ promotional offer. The sales Rep confirmed that I could do this. However, I am unable to switch to a cheaper plan now and neither I am unable to switch to another account without losing the promotional offer.
This trade-in promotion looks like a pure loot. The sales rep blatantly lied to me and now I am left with paying 91$ per month on this plan whereas I was paying 30$ with T-mobile. I also lost my S21 ultra which I traded in. Now, I feel helpless with all of this.

Sorry to hear That your going thru this. I having problem getting my credits for a promo ( 6 + months now) and I've been with this company when it was Alltel { over 8 years}. All you can do is file a complaint with the FCC and BBB,. Verizon has 30 days to address the issue. From what I have seen this seems to. be the only way to get someone to be accountable. About to file my complaints today and look into going to another service provider after I pay my phones off.

What I meant is I traded the device and got eligible for 1000$ promotion. However, I am unable to switch my plan without losing the promotion.
