We were looking to upgrade both our phones due to promotions being available for upgrades. Verizon's website showed $440 trade-ins on all the devices we were looking at, and this is the deal that we took to exchange an Samsung S21 for an iPhone 14 Pro. On the Verizon web page, both of the lines showed a promotion of "Just For You: Save up to $800 with trade-in." We added all of the devices to the cart, and it showed that were receiving $440 for each of our Galaxy S21s. We decided to confirm this in person so we could also see whether there were additional offers for plan upgrade so went to our local Verizon store. These discounts were confirmed in store after having to go back 3 times as the customer service agent said that our devices trade-in qualified, and also changed our plans but he had difficulty getting computer & phone agent to adjust it then.. We ordered the devices with reassurance that this would be processed as soon as we brought in our trade-ins (within 30 days), which we did the following weekend. However, he was not available & was โout sickโ each time we went back. The CS rep there accepted our trade-ins but said they couldnโt process our promos, & we would have to wait till that rep.returned. In the meantime, we were assured they would put in a note on our file for that. I communicated by text with the original rep who told me he would take care of this as soon as he got back to work. However, when I called to check, he said he had tried to get this done & requested the adjustment twice without success. He told us that I would have to return to the Verizon store where he would be able to fix this in-person to get us the full $440 each device. This seems ridiculous & definitely a false advertising by Verizon - frustrated that I should waste another 3 hours (already spent 3 hrs. twice & over an hour the 3rd time), while waiting in store for what should have required a single visit! We feel majorly aggravated wast so much time chasing down and trying to get what was advertised and also promised, & coming up short. Furthermore, there does not seem to be any way to get hold of someone who will resolve this, barring having to go back to the store; & I doubt that trip will guarantee I get my money back. I am on the verge of switching providers & am just looking around for my best option without taking an additional loss!
Any advise on this matter would be most welcome.

Mymobilecomn2, We're sorry to read about the situation with trade ins at the store. We're here to help. Does the store still have the devices? ~Peter
