Transferring a line with device trade in credits to another Verizon account

If I have a line that has trade-in credits being applied from one account to another account, will those credits continue applying when the line is active in the receiving account? The support article says it should, but I’ve seen conflicting information from some older posts in this forum so I want to confirm.

We understand that transfering accounts can bring up many questions. It would depend on the trade in promotion guidelines. The best option is for us to look at the account so we can review the current trade in promotion. Sending over a Private Message so we can better assist.
