UPS LOST MY TRADE-IN IPHONE BUT THE SENDER IS VERIZON AND I CANT FILE A CLAIM

UPS has lost my S20+ device I trade it towards a $800 promotional trade credit if I pre-ordered one of the S23 devices.

I ended up ordering the S23+ which would reduce my bill down to $5.00 a month for 36 months, new method of the contract lockdown but I'm not mad I plan on holding onto this device for 3 years just like the S20+. Heck, only reason I upgraded is I was running out of internal storage and with Google no longer allowing much to transfer to the SD card it rendered that all but useless.

Anywho UPS last noted on 2/22/2023 that my item was being prepared for delivery and that a delivery date would be provide as soon as possible, still nothing ot this day.

As of now I am still on the phone with Verizon trying to sort this mess going on hour number 2 because his supervisor told him I needed to file the claim, so now he is trying to get a higher supervisor on the phone.

Even though the lost item is an item that belongs to me albiet an item I'm trading into Verizon for credit I have no ability to file a claim as Verizon is the one who created the shipping label, not me. While this agent on the phone with is truly trying to be as helpful as he can I'm no confident I'll got anywhere baed on experiences I've noted on this forum as well as reddit.

Has anyone had any experience with this where they got their credit promised and if so how?

DACouture,

We're sorry to hear your device was lost in the shipping process, but happy to hear a peer was on the phone with you to assist. Were you provided with options after you worked with us and leadership? If so, what?
