It is insane to see how many trade-ins have been “lost”. We are encountering the same thing. I’ve already reached out to UPS who cannot or will not help because Verizon was the “sender” on the package, not me. Has anyone had success in getting their credit???
I have the documentation that the phone was sent, so Verizon should honor their offer of $350 credit. They are aware that UPS has a terrible record of delivering the phones, and still they offer this method.
As a long-time Verizon customer, this is enough to send me to another carrier.

I am about to send in our trade that we agreed to for the 15 Pro. I am scared. I am not a believer in expensive phones and ony agreed to this deal because of the trade in. After about 5 hrs of chatting over 4 sessions, we finally got one line upgraded with the trade and a new line added with a new I14. Now I have to in the trade for the I15 and I am just sick that it might not get there. I have read so many accounts of the phones getting lost, the deal being modified or the deal being revoked by Verizon, some still in limbo a year later. Sometime think I should have jumped to a different carrier many years ago.

I certainly understand your apprehension, JohnPen. Especially having had the same experience in the past, I would want to make sure to avoid it in the future as well. I have a few tips that I practice myself when I send stuff like this back.
First, if you want to, you may be able to select to do the trade-in at a Verizon store. Learn more here: https://www.verizon.com/support/how-to-recycle-device/
Second, if sending the trade-in back to us is the only option, I recommend going to the appropriate carrier store and getting a paper receipt from them. This is because it initiates the first scan on the shipping process so that when you check the tracking number you can see it's in UPS's possession, and provides you with a paper receipt of the tracking number.
I hope these tips help provide some peace of mind when trading in your old phone for your new iPhoe 15!
