Upgrade without account owner or manager

Am I able to upgrade my line without an account owner or manager? All the account managers and owner lives in different state. In the past they have been able to call the account owner for verbal permission. Is this still the case

Hello briizy4 We will still require the permission of the account owner, and it would be preferable if you were an account manager. ~Peter
