Wrong/False information given

My husband and me decided to changed service providers back in June 2025,   We came to Verizon.  We were supposed to get gift cards for trading in our phones. Is been almost 4 months and we haven’t even gotten not even one.  I’ve lost tracked of how many times we have called to get this resolved and every time we get told something new/different in this matter.  I just finished speaking to a representative that advice me to do this.  It seems like the whole situation started the day of the sale, June 27, 2025.  The sales person that help us, that was actually the store manager. He told us that the trade in your phone promotion could be done with any phones.  That we didn’t need to trade in both of our new iPhones 16 Pro max from AT&T.  That we could keep one and sell it when AT&T unlocked it.  After we had paid our last bill with AT&T.  Using the gift cards that were going to receive no later than 4 weeks/1 bill cycle. He even helped us figure out which IPhone could be sold faster. My husbands or mine. Depending on the demand out there, also based on color and battery. Per this advise we trade one iPhone 16 Pro Max and iPhone 8 Plus. In September I was made aware that this information was wrong.  So because the sales person gave the wrong/false information now we can’t receive what we had signed up for. This is just wrong !!
