Apple Arcade

I’m at my wits end! I purchased a new phone on Feb. 12th. When I did it forced me to changed plans. All my perks were supposed to be removed. All were except for Apple Arcade. I’ve called or texted so many people try to get it removed from my account. It finally doesn’t show up in my perks but is still showing up in my Apple subscriptions. It will not let me remove it and it says that I have to contact Verizon to get it removed. I’ve had numerous call to the level two tech department and they assured me they were going to escalate my problem and told me they would call me the following day to let me know if it was fixed or what I need to do to fix the issue. I’ve yet to get a call back. I really need to get this removed because I want to get the Apple one perk onto my plan. Since the Apple Arcade is still on my phone the Apple one will not authenticate and start my subscription. So frustrated and have not reached one person that can help.
Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do to fix it? I’m very frustrated and do not want to spend 2 hours on the phone again and go the long explanation again. The last two times I refused to do the trouble shoot yet again. They sent me to the Level two dept. with no call back.
I’ve reached out to Apple service to see if they could do anything and was told that they can see the subscription but can not remove it because Verizon has to do it!
I need some help!

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but you've tried cancelling via the Services and Perks in your My Verizon, as well as the Cancel through Apple procedure as outlined in the link below? There's verbiage about needing to cancel through Apple if you signed up for Apple Arcade prior to November 2021

I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

I finally got it resolved! I did try everything you suggested. Thank you for trying. Verizon couldn’t help me with the issue but they did help get me to the right Apple person that fixed it.

No solutions unfortunately, but I am dealing with the exact same thing. Ridiculous that Verizon can’t see a subscription on my account that is literally subscribed through them. Super frustrating. Still waiting for resolution as well but I think you are absolutely right that it is the ghost Apple Arcade subscription causing the issue. I’ve seen so many people complain about this. Why are you not doing anything about this Verizon?

I finally got it resolved! I did try everything you suggested. Thank you for trying. Verizon couldn’t help me with the issue but they did help get me to the right Apple person that fixed it. I had to talk to a couple of people from Apple. They kept telling me and the Verizon support person that they couldn’t fix it. We asked to talk to a supervisor. When we were transferred Apple made the Verizon support person leave the call. Then she did her magic and got it fixed.
