Apple One perk and existing subscriptions

I'm trying to find out what happens to my existing Apple subscriptions when I get the Verizon Apple One perk.
The Verizon FAQ is not entirely clear. It says that getting the Apple One perk will cancel my existing account with Apple. I 'm concerned about losing my downloaded music, library and other info and settings on Apple Music and TV+.
I tried to find out what happens by chatting with a Verizon rep who said everything in my existing subscriptions would be lost and I would have a brand new Apple One account. When I contacted Apple, the rep said that all of my information would seamlessly transfer over to the Verizon perk Apple One.
I'd like to get Apple One for $10 through the Verizon perk rather than $20 from Apple, but not if I lose all of my saved music and other info.
Does anyone have the answer?
Thanks

Hey, rckraus1! We understand wanting to confirm how the Apple One perk will work if you already have existing Apple subscriptions. To clarify, do you use the same Apple ID for iCloud and media subscriptions and purchases? If you just have one Apple ID, all Apple One services will be automatically applied to that account automatically. Even if you use two separate Apple IDs, you can still choose which account to use. You can learn more here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/108106 To simplify, your existing content will not be lost, and it will simply be upgraded to the subscriptions included within Apple One: https://support.apple.com/en-us/108106
Please let us know if this helps!

Why is the perk 50% off if you go through Verizon then? Does anyone know?
One thing I have seen elsewhere in the forums is if you have your Apple One linked with your Verizon account - you'd better never leave Verizon, because porting out or otherwise disconnecting your service revokes all access to your My Verizon account. So if you have 3rd party perks like Apple services running through your Verizon account, you won't be able to upgrade, update, cancel, or maybe even access them anymore if you leave Verizon!
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

Thanks for the response. Iโm still uncertain about what will happen.
I use the same Apple ID for iCloud and media subscriptions.
I understand that the services (Music, TV+) will be the same if I get Apple One through the Verizon perk. Iโm interested in confirming that the content will be the same, e.g. music libraries, content and recommendations based on listening history, etc. I have a lot of downloaded albums and playlists and donโt want to lose them.
My concern comes from a chat with a Verizon rep who said my existing subscription will be suspended/canceled and Iโll have a new subscription through Verizon. She said the content would not be transferred. The Verizon FAQ on the Apple One perk says existing subscriptions will be โsuspended.โ This is different that the FAQ about the Netflix perk which says it will be โlinkedโ to an existing subscription.
Thanks again.

Essentially what happens when you change over is you will see in Settings>(your Apple ID)>Subscriptions your Apple One subscription will no longer show you are subscribed through Apple, it will show you are subscribed through Verizon. Otherwise, you can use your services as normal.
