Can I Get a Postpaid Plan with a Device as an International Student Without an SSN?

Hi everyone,
I'm an incoming international student moving to the U.S. soon, and I'm exploring my options for mobile service. I'm very interested in Verizon's postpaid plans, especially because they allow you to finance a phone and gradually pay it off through your monthly bill. This setup is ideal for me, as Iโd prefer not to go the prepaid route (mainly because it doesnโt offer any discounts on phone purchases).
That said, I currently do not have a Social Security Number (SSN), which I understand is often a requirement for postpaid plans or financing devices.
Iโve gone through a couple of similar posts on the forum, but the answers were a bit vague or inconsistent, so I wanted to ask directly:
Is it possible to get a postpaid plan with a financed phone from Verizon without an SSN?
Iโm completely open to providing a deposit if needed or going through additional verification. I'm looking for a long-term solution and would really prefer to stay with one provider throughout my studies.
If anyone has gone through this as an international student or has insight into how Verizon handles this situation, Iโd greatly appreciate any advice or clarification!
Thanks in advance!
