Verizon in store agent set up Military Discount before check that I already had a 55+Loyalty discount, when he found out he said I could have both discounts. Then they eliminated the larger 55+ discount. Store agent told me he had called the discount department and they were going to fix this and get be back to the $40 amount, that did not happen.
I have talked Customer Loyalty Discount Department agent and she change me to another discount 22% which is more than the Military but less than the 55+ and stated several times that I could keep both. Next bill now shows just the 22% discount and I am still getting less than I had when original Verizon agent changed account when he should not have.
Who do I need to talk to next to get real action?
I am astounded that not all Verizon employees know that discounts and promotions aren't "stackable". The alternative, I don't want to post... Unfortunately, your experience isn't unique. Hope someone can put your original discount back on and remove the newer one.
Hello, ma75. Thank you so much for your service. I know the importance of saving money through discounts and my apologies to hear of this issue. The discount you had is an older discount that is no longer offered. Once it has been removed, we cannot add it back but glad to hear newer discount is now listed on the account.

After reading the resolution, I am appalled that a customer can be told incorrect information by an employee and that the company does not honor the words spoken to the customer. This is a tactic that will lose you customer loyalty real fast. I heard another unheard of company commercial today preaching no hassle and no gimmicks.. no hidden fees yada yada. After going through several issues during a phone upgrade of false promises I’m very interested in hearing what they have to sell.
