I have the DIsney+ bundle and have Home TV Plan that includes ESPN, the channel. I keep receiving a message when I try to stream ESPN (the channel) that "This channel is not part of your TV plan". I can watch ESPN through my cable box cannot stream it on my phone, firestick, or android TV. All other ESPN channels stream with no problem. Has this been a recent issue for anyone?

Hello, dfnyrangersfan, we know it's important to be able to access your ESPN subscription. How are you attempting to access your subscription on your phone? Are you using the ESPN app?

Hi Lauren
I access my ESPN subscription via the ESPN app. I have no problem with access to all ESPN content, except ESPN channel (I can stream ESPN2, ESPN+, etc.) When I try to stream ESPN channel I get error message saying this channel is not part of your TV plan (though I can watch ESPN fine through my Fios cable box, channel 570) Thank you

One of the Fios experts who hangs out on these forums posted that some channels can only be accessed through your set-top box. This is probably because local content and/or live content subject to blackout regulations has to be verified through a device location and they don't want users circumventing it via a mobile device.

Thank you....However it occurs with regular content too such as SC, NFL Live, PTI, etc.....not just local sporting events. I was trying to see if there were others who had same issue

I'm pretty sure any live content can't be accessed through the ESPN app unless you pay for a live TV streaming package elsewhere. I've got a streaming service subscription elsewhere and the same thing happens with me constantly. Calling that a ploy to get you to pay $80/month for "live TV". 🙄

Thanks for confirming what you've been streaming and where. I did check on ESPN, and they have a helpful video on how to ensure you can watch streaming content on the app: https://support.espn.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003776511-How-do-I-watch-live-streaming-content-on-the...
Have you followed the steps outlined in the video, to ensure successful streaming on the ESPN app?

Hey did you ever get a fix for this? The same thing has been happening to me with ESPN and other channels like CNN. I have called Verizon and they were no help. Honestly they did not understand what was happening. Explaining seemingly is so confusing to people. It's so annoying.

Hello, alicia051259, we're ready to help with your ESPN subscription! Is this related to the Disney bundle? Can you let us know how you are attempting to watch ESPN?
