So every day it seems at some point our wifi adapters( 3 ) lose connection to the router, not all at once or even every adapter. It varies. The router has signal but occasionally one or all adapters will not connect which usually requires a hard reset of the router. However, this morning there was something new. The one adapter that couldn't connect( the other 2 were connected fine ) is now requiring an 8 digit pin code? There is no 8 digit pin code on the bottom of the router that I could see.
I do apologize that you have had to encounter those issues. May I ask are you working with a business? I ask this because you are mentioning more than one unit.

No it's home service. The problem eventually sorted itself out to where I just needed to input the password🤷♂️
