Router on Unlimited Plan

We're looking to move from a data plan to an unlimited plan... we have 4 cell phones and 1 router.  The router is only used at a remote cabin to monitor a thermostat and needs virtually zero data.  We currently pay $10/month and it appears if we go to unlimited we have to switch that over too... which appears to now be $60/month.  This would be a deal breaker for us... is there any other option to have a router with limited data on our plan?

You could keep the router as a separate sub account with a limited data plan. Any data used by the router is considered hotspot data so you should keep that in mind when considering the plan for the device.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
