In a previous post in 2018, it was documented that the port forwarding did not work for the Verizon 4G LTE wireless router even if the customer purchased a static IP public address for $500. It was stated that Verizon uses a double NAT firewall with all the ports closed.
Is the status of this 2018 community thread still the same ? I would like to have a public IP address so that I can access certain services (such as FTP, SFTP, etc) for a device connected to the Verizon 4G LTE wireless Novatel T1114 router. Is this even possible ?
