Add Users

Verizon Cloud has to be one of the worst implementations of storage I have ever seen. I have never been able to add another user (see screenshot). When I attempt to enroll my other lines, it tries to charge me - even though my Home Internet Plan already earns me unlimited cloud access. There is no Linux Utility, so I can only use the cloud portal. I can only upload one file at at a time, it does not allow for uploading a folder, or even a compressed file. I think Verizon needs to hire someone from DropBox, Google, or Box to re-architect the whole thing.

I see the confusion - that Web Page tab, while named 'User Management', pre-dates the shareable Cloud plans and does not actually relate to this service but a separate service with a similar name.
To manage users/members for your shareable Verizon Cloud service, you can:

  • Use the My Verizon App (as account owner)
  • Load and use the free Desktop app (Downloadable) and sign into the 5G Home Internet's My Verizon account (Set up when you first got the service)
  • Install the Cloud app on a Tablet and log-in as above
  • Launch the Verizon Cloud app on your personal mobile device and in Account Settings use 'Residential Sign-In' and log in as above.

Hey there, dakkmaddy, we defintiely want to help make sure you are able to use the Verizon Cloud feature to store your memories quickly and easily. What happens when selecting multiple files to upload? You mentioned you're looking to add additional users. Do you currently have the individual or group cloud storage?

I tried to upload a compressed file - too big to upload. Then I tried to upload two regular pictures  taken from a 2000s era phone ... then they are also too big to upload. I cannot add any other users and at this point, I will look at it again in 3-6 months and see if Verizon rebuilds it's consumer cloud service. It is not worth my time to try to make something that is this cumbersome.
