Annoying notification icon won't go away

Is anyone else getting a really annoying notification icon on the Verizon cloud app when there's nothing to update or be notified on?? ...someone pls pass through a patch to fix!

Jaltamirano1, we definitely want you to have the notification that matter on  your apps. How long have you had the icon on your app with nothing  appearing when opening the app? Have you been able to uninstall the app  and reinstall it to ensure reset the app?

I deleted the app and reloaded it, and it’s still got that notification on the app. Is there more than one place to check for new messages inside this app? Grrr...
