Can't do transfer

I had to return my old Android turbo phone due to battery being fried so I can not do a transfer to transfer.. I was able to retrieve most of my contacts but none of my pictures or text messages are being downloaded onto my new phone.. I see them in the cloud but I cannot get them to download.

Jenlove7117, being able to move your information should always be a breeze. You do have to walk through in order to get your data transferred over, which is different then your contacts which automatically sync.

Keeping your contacts, pictures and other data safe is important JENLOVE7117 . Do you get an error message when trying to sync from the cloud? Here is a link with steps to sync your text messages and pictures http://vz.to/1OgSM3j .

I have to download everything onto my new phone? Why didn't it just "sync" up like my contacts did?
