Confused by warning re. Closing account

Have gotten yet another message that my cloud account will be closed due to inactivity as of 6/29/17. However I did add storage after getting the same previous message. I increased from 5GB to 25GB. Does this not count as "activity"? I don't get it. What does it take to be "active"?
