I am trying to backup my LG 2 Lucid smartphone to the Cloud, apparently phone not smart enough, Keep getting error saying that Contact Sync Unsuccessful and also [10]Database Error

OK, I ended up removing the App. Turn off phone and remove battery. Re-installed battery and powered on phone went to the Play Store and re-installed Verizon Cloud. Seems to be Backing up with no errors.

i will guess you have a gmail account?
import your contacts to your gmail, then you can auto sync to the new phone.
to do this, open contact app. Tap menu button. Select settings. Select import export option. Chose import from device storage. This will now pop up options to safely move your contacts. Gmail is always one of the options.
You can check gmail on a computer or other device to see your contact list.
when you add gmail/google to your new device, your contacts will be included.

Well that fix worked for about 2 days then I I start getting the error again Contact Sync Unsuccessful,[10]Database error . So I am back where I started. The backup has work for last 2 years but this last month or so it's been acting up.

IF I remember right, the sync to verizon cloud has to be over network (cellular). Perhaps not a good cell connection at the time? And why I use alternate backups via wifi....
