I have had the cloud back up messages from 4 different phones over the past few years. It now says I have 34,000 messages to download if I choose to restore my cloud to this new phone I got today. I don't want 34,000 messages plus it would take years to download... I just want the ones from the last phone I had! HELP!

That's a lot of messages. I definitely get not wanting that many either. With the cloud messages can't be deleted directly from the cloud. They can only be deleted from the phone. When they are deleted from a device though and it syncs again they are automatically deleted from the cloud. Do you still have your old device? If so I would recommend deleting what you don't want from that most recent device and then running the Cloud. It should sync to just what is on that phone.
