I just accidentally deleted a few photos from the cloud is there a way to retrieve them from a trash file since I have not logged out of this session?

If you deleted them using the Verizon Cloud website (https://cloud.verizonwireless.com), then they will be in your Trash on the website under the Settings section so you will be able to restore them from there.
If you deleted them from the cloud using the mobile app then there is no concept of trash so it would not be recoverable.
