Deleting Contacts from my Cloud

I have about 140+  contacts in my cloud I want to delete. However when I select them, it has only one option to "add to favorites." There's no option to "delete" said contacts.

The Cloud is not a very user friendly app. Please help, thank you for your time.

You're probably looking at the contacts in the cloud app.  The cloud app relies on the phone's contact book for modifications which is why there is not delete contact function in the mobile app.  You can do the suggestion about deleting them using the website (remember to do a backup from the phone after you delete them from the cloud website to get an updated contact list on your phone) or you can delete them from the phone's contact list and do a backup to the cloud.
