Deleting files option while transferring to cloud

Isn't there an option to select "Delete files that are transferred to Cloud?" Years ago, I found it so easy to transfer my photos, files, etc from my phone to my laptop or an online service. The past few years, I feel like I have really struggled with keeping my phone and files organized. I am not sure if it is that I am getting older and can't keep up with technology?  Or is it that my phone has way too many options, and I can never figure out when to use what? (I suppose that's also related to my brain overload? Lol) Or that previous free services are no longer available, and now the paid services aren't as user friendly as the ones I was using. I have pictures in multiple areas, and that is very frustrating. I've recently started using Verizon Cloud hoping to get EVERYTHING in one spot to keep things simple. It takes forever for my files to upload, so I start it when I go to bed. When I get up, it appears like files have transferred, but there's no indication other than going in and looking. (Used to be that there would be a message like, "609 files were successfully uploaded. ") Plus, not all of the files get uploaded!!! That is really frustrating and confusing! It's random, too. Like some photos, but not all; some screen shots, but not all; some edited images, but not all. So I cannot even do a mass delete because I do not know which items are saved in the cloud without going thru them individually.... Which would take me hours and hours to do. ๐Ÿ˜– Please help!
